Ferrari F430 Scuderia for Radio and Radar Detection System

This customer brought by his Ferrari F430 Scuderia in order to have the OEM radio replaced and have a Radar detector installed. He had heard of us through some Ferrari specific forums and decided to let us work on his amazing car.

For the radio basically he just wanted the ability to plug in an iPod via USB, with control from the radio, as well as have an Auxiliary input. For this we went with a very simple Pioneer DEH-2500UI. This unit does not come with many extras, however it does include AM/FM radio, a single CD, and USB and Aux inputs.

For the Radar detector this customer did not want to cut any corners, so he went with the tried and true Passport 9500ci. This is a fully concealed system with dual front laser diffusers, front radar detector, a single rear laser diffuser, and a GPS antennae for locating speed and traffic light cameras. The system also comes with a small display and control module, as well as a cut off switch for quickly powering on or off the system. These units also have a USB adapter plug located above the drivers feet to allow easy updates of new camera and speed trap locations. The Passport 9500ci is a top of the line concealed radar system with unmatched performance for everyday use.
