Aston Martin Vantage for Passport 9500ci and Front Park Sensors

This customer was referred to us by Aston Martin of Washington DC in order to have some extra work done to his Aston Martin Vantage. For starters we installed a Passport 9500ci which is a fully concealed system with dual front laser diffusers, front radar detector, a single rear laser diffuser, and a GPS antennae for locating speed and traffic light cameras. The system also comes with a small display and control module, as well as a cut off switch for quickly powering on or off the system. These units also have a USB adapter plug located above the drivers feet to allow easy updates of new camera and speed trap locations. The Passport 9500ci is a top of the line concealed radar system with unmatched performance for everyday use.
After that the customer realized how difficult this car is to park due to its low slung and very long hood. Before risking hitting the front bumper on anything he had us install a set of front parking sensors to alert him of objects that may be in the way. These sensors are painted with factory paint to ensure a perfect match and factory look.

BRZ for Full LED Light Kit

Some more experimental parts came for my Subaru BRZ, this time it was a full LED light kit for the vehicle. This kit includes front and rear turn signals, rear license plate lights, reverse lights, interior dome light, and the trunk light. After a fairly straight forward installation and after adding a few resistors here and there all of the LEDs were functioning perfectly. These lights give off a nice white light as opposed to the old bulb style lights with a yellowish glow. These help to make the car look a bit nicer overall without being too flashy.

All of the new lights.

New reverse and license plate lights installed.

M5 for Full System Plus Extras

This BMW M5 was brought to us by a long time customer in order to have a lot of work done. To start we outfitted this car with a full new sound system. Starting with the speakers we went with Focal Polykevlar all around. These are Focals 2nd line from the top sitting just below the Utopia Be speakers. These speakers were mated to an Audison amplifier and together this made a huge improvement to the sound system. The only thing missing now was some added bass, so for this we added a Pioneer shallow mount sub in order to add sound and not take up too much room in the trunk or add too much weight.
After the sound system we began to work on radar and laser protection. This customer had a kit from his previous vehicle that we transferred to his new one by simply installing the laser diffusers and radar sensor. While we were running wires from back to front in the vehicle we also wired up his exhaust cut out system which could be controlled in the car to open an exhaust valve to let the engine rev more freely.
The last thing we worked on for this customer was wrapping the roof in vinyl. For this vehicle the customer decided to go with a gloss black to contrast the dark blue exterior paint.

Land Rover LR2 for Magellen Roadmate Hardwire

This vehicle was sent over to us from Land Rover of Alexandria in order to have a Magellan Road-mate hardwired and mounted at the top of this LR2 center console. For this unit we also interfaced a back-up camera, mounted above the license plate, which would automatically turn on when the customer put the car into reverse.

Jeep Wrangler for Train Horns

This vehicle was brought to us by a long time customer who was interested in adding train horns to his Jeep Wrangler. This is not your run of the mill automotive horn system, these horns require a compressor and air tank and make this jeep sound like a group of tractor trailers running you down. The horns were purchased from Horn Blasters and VIAIR was used for the compressor and tank set up. Once everything was set up and installed these horns could be heard from across town.

Along with the horns we also equipped this Jeep with an upgraded sound system by adding a Pioneer shallow mount sub, Pioneer Type-D speakers all around, and a Pioneer radio.

BMW 5-Series for Pioneer AVIC-X940BT

This vehicle was brought to us by a customer who had decided they would be keeping their BMW 5 Series for an extended period of time, and due to that they wanted to update the vehicles radio and sound system. The customer decided on the Pioneer AVIC-X940BT  which comes standard with navigation, Bluetooth, AM/FM radio, CD/DVD, iPod/iPhone interface, SD and USB inputs as well as an auxiliary input for using non USB devices. This unit can also be upgraded with back-up cameras, satellite radio, HD radio, and nav traffic.
With the addition of navigation and a more powerful amplifier in the Pioneer unit, this customer was very happy with their upgrade.

BMW 3-Series for Passport 9500ci

As usual with this car we went with a Passport 9500ci, This is a fully concealed system with dual front laser diffusers, front radar detector, a single rear laser diffuser, and a GPS antennae for locating speed and traffic light cameras.
